Extra Donor Data

If you require an address from donors for tax purposes, such as Gift Aid, CDTC (Charitable Donation Tax Credit), or internal policy, collecting donor address information is essential.

Gift Aid allows charities to claim back 25p for every £1 donated by a UK taxpayer. To do this, enter your HMRC ID, activate this option, then click "Save Changes".

Canada

Donors can receive tax credits for their charitable contributions. To issue a proper tax receipt, you will need the donor’s address as part of the required information. Enter your CRA #, activate this option, then click "Save Changes".

Other

Many organizations have internal policies that require the collection of donor addresses for record-keeping, communication, and transparency purposes. This ensures that you can provide accurate receipts and maintain a reliable donor database.
